Best business ideas for introverts
As introverts, we’re known to be quite creative, dedicated and self-motivated. This makes us great candidates for online business owners. We actually thrive when we put our minds to work on something new. The most common downfall is usually struggling to communicate our ideas to others.
But fear not, we’ve put together our go-to list of 10 business ideas for introverts that will work hand in hand with your personal traits. These are ideas that can work both as a part time side hustle as well as be built up to the point where they completely replace your income and scale far beyond what a traditional job can offer.
1. Start A Blog
Now this one might not sound like an easy way to make money online in 2022, but we are hear to tell you that’s far from the truth!
Even if you don’t consider yourself the best writer, there are tools out there today that will practically write your blog posts for you. It’s also a very easy business to outsource when you have some regular income being made.
Once you have the systems in place you can scale this much faster and easier than most other business types.
Blogs can have many different types of income streams, but our favorite is affiliate marketing. Using powerful tools like ahrefs.com you can find keywords that are super easy to rank, search for products that match these keywords, preferably those offering lifetime commissions on any users you send their way and then write up a detailed blog post either reviewing that product or writing a guide that includes using the product.
For example – We find that the keyword “Best Gaming Laptop Under $2000” has low competition and should be easy to rank with. So we write up a blog post titled “5 Best Gaming Laptops Under $2000”.
The post will list and link to 5 great gaming laptop deals using an affiliate link so that you earn commission anytime someone clicks and buys.
Make sure to use your main keyword throughout the blog post as well as several related keywords, be thorough, list the features, pro’s and con’s of each laptop. Give them awards like. “Best Lightweight Gaming Laptop” or “Best Budget Gaming Laptop”. The better your content the easier your post will rank in search results.

2. Resell 3rd Party Services
Start your own agency and outsource all the work! Think of it like dropshipping for services. You just find people that are already good at what they do, build a website to promote the services as your own and when the orders come in you hand them over to the professionals to complete.
Some companies will offer white-labelled reports specifically for people like you who are reselling their services. Others may even have completely automated systems in place so that when orders come in you don’t even have to lift a finger, the company is notified, they complete the service and deliver the files/report to your client directly.
What kind of services could you sell? The options are endless but here are a few examples:
- Graphic Design
- Web Design
- Video Editing
- Press Releases
- Social Media Management
- Paid Ad Management
- Voice Overs
- Writing Services
Lets take press releases as an example. You could use a company like PRMWire who offer press release writing and distribution services that are priced specifically for resellers. As a reseller you can mark up the price to give yourself very respectable profit margins, and still sell at prices that are lower than the major competitors in the space.
Start out simple, create a basic website with the ability for visitors to pay you via a cart. WordPress and WooCommerce will work just fine for this.
You can manage the orders via email for a start or go with a specialized order management system like ServiceProviderPro to make things easier to manage and much more professional looking overall. 3. Sell Online Courses / Digital Products
As an introvert you may not want to appear on video, but you can certainly still create courses and digital products that are text and image based.
Courses can be about anything you’re interested in. You don’t even need to be an expert on the topic (though it does help). Just learn as you go and make sure you’re at least one step ahead in terms of knowledge when compared to the students you are enrolling.
Write out a rough plan of what the different modules might look like. Take a look at what others are doing with their courses and get ideas of how to structure your course.
Does a course sound like too much work? Then why not start out with some digital download products. These can be simple workbooks, journal templates, short guides, coloring pages, resume templates, wordpress themes.
There are people making a killing with digital downloads, just do a quick search on etsy and you’ll see a huge range of different ideas you could start with.

This is a great online business idea for those who want to share their knowledge and expertise but don’t necessarily want to be a public figure.
Faceless videos can be made in any way or format you like. For example you might choose to use some stock video as the image and simply put text or even your voice along with it.
Not keen on speaking into a microphone either? There are many text to speech services and software around these days that will turn your script into a realistic sounding voice over for your videos.
Start by creating videos on topics that you’re passionate about and then promoting them on social media and other platforms.
If you build up a large enough following, you could even start selling products or services through your channel.
If you have expertise in a particular area, then you could start offering consulting services. This is a great online business idea for introverts as it doesn’t require much interaction with others.

To get started, all you need is a computer and internet connection. Then you can start applying for jobs on platforms like Upwork and Fiverr.
Want to scale this up? You could also start a Virtual Assistant agency and hire other VA’s to work for your clients.
